Year 4 and teacher Silvia🐋🌻🎣🎊🎆🎉🎈

Year 4.- Balance and Forces

 

These last two months the Art teacher and the year 4 pupils were working on Herminio Álvarez, an Asturian sculptor. This is the last local artist we have in our eTwinning project. He is the local artist from Asturias. He uses balance, forces and magnetism.

They found out about them and his works. 

The Art teacher, Silvia proposed two tasks:

1.- Make them experiement on balance and forces with the 3 D shapes on one condition; they can not use a full side of the shape on the desks. That was the challenge.

2.- Build up constructions with toothpicks or paper 3D shapes.

This is the outcome. Teacher Silvia created this video with photos from three  Art lessons.

Autumn in warm and cool colours

 

CLIL Art project using the compass tool and drawing leaves. 

Then we highlighted the lines and we colour in cool and warm colours. 

                         It took us a lot of time but it was worthy, wasn´t it?

 

 

 

 

Behind My Mask works

 

CLIL Art project to start this 2020.

 

This year we have to wear masks to do the lessons. It´s exhuasting and makes things extra difficult, especially when you are learning a language and you need to talk a lot and you can not see the mouths or the lips to understand better.

 

However our ESSENCE -in words- remains behind the masks!! Look at the different designs too...they are awesome!!
