Year 4.- Week 3: A Treasure Hunt about Work

Work in your area. Look at Navia´s and Villayon´s diagrams on page 5 of this document.
⚠ ⚠⚠Pay attention to the four colours and the three different work sectors.


Jobs. Have a look at the map and the graphs and compare the number of jobs in these municipalities: Villayón and Navia.

There are three big factories in Navia a paper factory, a milk factory and a boat manufacturing business and many retail businesses.
There are lots of factories in Villayón.

Year 4.- WEEK 1


IMPORTANT PRODUCTION PROCESSES IN ASTURIAS

1.- Have a look at this map. 
    Can you see the way from nature to the shop?

 2.- Choose one of these famous Asturias products: cheese, cider, sausages, knives from Taramundi; jet and silver gems; canned products (beans, tuna, rice pudding), an item of clothing (a traditional skirt or hat "Montera Picona"

3.- Look it up on the internet in Spanish  and find out information.

4.- Draw and write the production process for your product. 
Ideas to write all along the work according to your drawing:

 *Farmers obtain milk from the cows. Milk is a raw material.This is the primary sector.

*Lorries transport the milk to .....   Transport/ is tertiary sector work

*The bottles of milk are in the shop/We buy tha bottles of milk at Celaya´s supermarket. This is tertiary sector  job
